ATTRACTIONS

The Costa Blanca offers a whole host of attractions for every member of the family, with Javea well located to experience them all.

Nature

  • Montgo Natural Park, Javea/Denia - Delve into the park’s 2,100 hectares of wild scrubland and mountainous terrain. Travel to the heart of the park and climb to the summit of Montgo mountain, which rises to a height of 753 m (2,470 ft) above the surrounding plain. From the top, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the ocean, mountains, and occasionally the Balearic island of Ibiza. Wear appropriate footwear, as the terrain can be rough at times. The climb can easily take three to four hours one way, and is therefore not recommended for those with limited mobility.

  • Algar Waterfalls, Callosa d'En Sarria - Walk along the 1.5km marked route along the bed of the river Algar, admire the cascades of waterfalls and have a dip in the naturally formed pools of clear and refreshing water. Take a picnic to enjoy alongside the river edge.

  • El Castell de Guadalest, Guadalest - Guadalest is a picturesque village located just 50km from Javea. It is famous for its incredible castle, perched on a cliff overlooking a flourishing valley of pine and almond trees and a fascinating reservoir.

Kids & Family

  • Go Karting, Javea - Karting Javea is a Go-Kart Circuit offering karting for all ages and levels. It is located close to the main Arenal beach with great facilities and high quality Go-Karts.

  • Crazy Golf, Javea - Quo Vadis Javea, close to the main Arenal beach offers an 18 hole crazy golf course.

  • MundoMar, Benidorm - A big animal park where you can get close to an assortment of birds, reptiles and sea creatures, though the dolphins and sea lions steal the show. There are plenty of places to eat or you can bring your own picnic.

  • Aqualandia, Benidorm - Next door to MundoMar, Aqualandia is one of Europe's largest waterparks and consists of many water attractions, including water slides, swimming pools, river rapids and sunbathing areas. Again, there are plenty of places to eat or you can bring your own picnic.

  • Terra Mitica, Benidorm - Inspired by the five civilisations of the Mediterranean, Terra Mitica theme park is packed with thrilling rides, spectacular live shows and attractions that the whole family will love.

  • Benidorm Palace, Benidorm - No visit to Benidorm is complete without a night out at the world famous Benidorm Palace. Enjoy dancers, acrobats and magicians from around the world in elegant surroundings at this top class “Vegas” style show.
